Tahitensis Collection from Indonesia

This vanilla collection is made with Tahitensis vanilla beans grown in Indonesia. This is a cross between the Mexican planifolia and an ornamental orchid that was developed in French Polynesia at the beginning of the last century. Although vanilla beans from the original Tahiti have a distinct flavor, those grown elsewhere in the world all have characteristic aniseed notes like the original.

Those from the Tanguerang region of Indonesia have a unique exotic personality: its Eucaliptus notes punctuated by red fruits make it a much sought-after product for frozen desserts and tartars.

The pods we use come from the Indah Arnaelis plantation.
