The Planifolia type vanilla beans that are grown in Indonesia have developed a flavour that is typical of their terroir. Although each island of Indonesia produces its own specific terroir flavours, the whole archipelago offers a distinct bouquet from other regions of the world. JAVA vanilla will surprise you with its spicy and slightly bitter notes reminiscent of mace and black licorice. Moreover, unlike almost all the vanillas in the world, it does not have any chocolate or fruit notes... except for a few raisins.

Java vanilla is available in three options:

• The 25g package of Java at 25% moisture, easy to store, with a vanillin content of 1.9% (still follow the storage instructions on the package carefully). There arefive large pods of 5 grams in each package.
  
• The 50g package of Java at 25% moisture, easy to store, with a vanillin content of 1.9% (please follow the storage instructions on the package). There are9 to 11 large pods of 5 grams in each package .
• The 25g package of Java with 38% moisture, much more delicate to store, with a vanillin content of 1.7% (still pay close attention to the storage instructions on the package). There arefive large pods of 5 grams in each package .
